- The Secretary of State considers that there are reasonable grounds to suspect that Aoun Commercial Brokers LLC is an involved person under the Sudan (Sanctions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 because it has, as part of a network of companies linked to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), ) and through its association with the RSF’s financial and logistical support network provided support for action, policy or activity which threatens the peace, stability and security of Sudan, and has provided financial services and made available funds and economic resources that could contribute to such activity, in that this network has played a significant role in the supply of money and resources to the RSF, one of the main parties to the conflict in Sudan.
