Description

This procuurement is for the provisdion of overhaul services for Classes 165 and 168 Trip cock valves. The trip cock valves are to be overhualed to a Chiltern Railways specification to improve the reliability of the valves and in turn the fleets to which they are installed. The specification consists of a core scope with a list of mandatory change components and also componenets that are changed on condition following inspection. The trip cock valves have not been overhauld recently so some valves could be excessively worn. Where this is the case, additional services could be required over and above the core specification to return the valves to a serviceable condition. Whilst the overhaul services are ad-hoc in nature, it is expected that output volume will be circa 40 valves per annum.
